WebAimovig is given either as a 70 mg dose or a 140 mg dose. Your doctor will tell you which dose is right for you. You will either get: o 70 mg = 1 injection taken once per month, or o 140 mg = 2 injections taken together once per month 1. Take Aimovig out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before giving the shot. The recommended dose is 70 mg every 4 weeks as a single injection.
