Webalthough consumption in Tanzania has increased, the average consumption was only 39 liters per person per year. As part of the MKUKUTA targets, the government is focused on developing the livestock industry to help poverty reduction and address food scarcity and move this industry from subsistence farming to more commercial enterprises.
