When turned on, the tubes don't light up. The indicator doesn't light either, but the guy said it never did. 2. I checked all the tubes (5x 12ax7; 2x EL84) by putting them in other amps, and they all work. So it's not a bad tube. 3.

I had a JCA2112RC and found it to be one the worse amps I've ever owned, second only to a Crate V18 (which I actually threw away in a fit of frustration).
